It’s all about the details

One of the nice things about making hats by hand is the ability to stitch one-of-a-kind details – things that would be far too labour-intensive for a factory turning out thousands of hats at a time. Like the paper aeroplane above, or cute bows made from matching bias fabric strips, or eye-catching buttons. I also plan to experiment with prints transferred to fabric, which opens up a world of fonts and graphic design I can’t wait to experiment with!
